Mayo Clinic Natural History Study

Clinakos, rare disease, integrated patient data, medically smart AI, Natural history

The Mayo Clinic has launched a landmark natural history study focused on autosomal dominant leukodystrophy (ADLD), an ultra-rare hereditary neurodegenerative disorder. This initiative will collect deep, longitudinal data—medical records, imaging, genetics, and more—to better understand disease progression and accelerate new therapies for patients who urgently need them.

At Clinakos Inc., we’re proud to support such efforts by providing Integrated Patient Data™ and Medically Smart AI™ solutions that help:

✅ Curate and link real-world data across medical records, imaging, and genetics
Build high-fidelity, longitudinal patient profiles critical for natural history studies
Identify key biomarkers and disease trends to accelerate clinical trial readiness
Bridge data gaps between researchers, clinicians, and patient communities

Aggregate multiple data sources, reducing missingness and boosting the reliability of natural history datasets

Clinakos’ approach empowers researchers, clinicians, and life sciences companies to overcome traditional barriers in rare disease research, ultimately paving the way for better therapies and improved patient outcomes.
